Mama Goodness Goji Goodness Granola is plant-powered, organic and built on the nutritious energy of puffed grains, nuts, seeds and goji berries that bring you iron, protein, healthy fats, magnesium, zinc, fibre and antioxidants with every bite. With the addition of toasted coconut and the natural sweetness of maple syrup, it makes the perfect breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack for people of all ages and stages in life.
Goji berries are traditionally used in the postpartum and are known to be rich in antioxidants, which makes them an incredibly beneficial food when your body is healing. You can eat it in a bowl with berries and yoghurt, sprinkle it on top of smoothies, or eat it straight from the bag, with a piece of dark chocolate or five.
This granola was originally created as a ‘lactation granola’ as it contains galactagogue ingredients which are said to boost the production of breastmilk. It became so popular amongst not only breastfeeding people but also pregnant people, partners and their children, that we changed the status of this delicious treat to simply, granola.
